Dr. Robbie Harriford MD, MSGH

Founder of Modern Traditions

Dr. Robbie is currently the CMO at a Federally Qualified Health Center in Kansas City, MO, a bilingual women’s health physician and the founder of Modern Traditions, a curated travel company for healthcare professionals. With years of experience caring for diverse patient populations, she saw firsthand how cultural understanding shapes healthcare outcomes. Driven by a passion for bridging medicine and culture, she created Modern Traditions to offer immersive travel experiences that deepen cultural humility and enhance patient care.

Delmar Smith, MBA, PA

Delmar is a healthcare professional with over a decade of experience in clinical practice. He earned his Physician Assistant designation from Long Island University-Brooklyn in 2010 and began his career with the inpatient Urology service at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset. He later completed a fellowship in Urology and Robotic Surgery at UT Southwestern in Dallas.

Delmar joined Kaiser Permanente San Francisco as the lead robotic surgical first assistant and was promoted to Robotics Coordinator. During his time at Kaiser, he developed a keen interest in leveraging data to drive decision-making and improve operational efficiency. This passion led him to pursue an MBA in Healthcare Administration and Data Analytics. He is an active member of the California Association of Healthcare Leaders (CAHL) where he volunteered on the Career, Development, and Transition Committee and serves as Chair of the Clinical Leadership Committee.

Joy Bauer, BHA, RN-BC, PMP

Vice President, HealthNET Systems Consulting, Inc.

Joy joined HealthNET in 2011, and brings 30+ years of healthcare IT and Nursing leadership to the team. She is a certified PMP, a Clinical Informaticist, and an IT professional. Her consulting expertise spans hospitals, integrated delivery networks, physician groups, and health plans. She has extensive experience and in-depth understanding of software systems — clinical, financial, and administrative.

Joy is a former CIO with senior level leadership experience in managing full-lifecycle EHR implementations and numerous third-party and niche specialty systems, including integration with the core EHR. She has developed and executed cutover and go-live M&A plans, divestiture plans, and has established and run PMOs.

She has led numerous projects aimed at meeting operational, regulatory, revenue, and quality of care goals. Joy is well-versed in various Change Management and Process Improvement theories and practices. Among her successful PI projects are CPOE with over 85% participation, electronic prescribing of medications, decreased LOS, and improved patient throughput. In terms of regulatory compliance, she has led health systems with and without ambulatory practices to successfully attest for Meaningful Use / Promoting Interoperability, MIPS, MACRA, and address the Cures Act.

Joy received her BHA from the University of St. Francis.

Fei Jiang, PT, DPT, OCS, MBA

Business Development, Health Tech Start-Up (Stealth Mode)

Fei is a health tech entrepreneur who is passionate about blending business and healthcare to improve health access and outcomes on a larger scale. With a background in clinical practice as a physical therapist and management consulting, she is exploring ways to drive healthcare innovation to support both practitioner and patient-centered solutions. She is particularly interested in leveraging technology and strategic partnerships to transform care delivery.
